A Mother Knows

My micro piece “A Mother Knows” appears as a reprint this months in Metastellar Magazine. I’m delighted for this story to find a second home. It was originally published in December of 2020 by 365 Tomorrows.

I wrote the piece in 2019 and after Covid hit, I sat on it for a while.

Here it is in Metastellar.

Pushcart Nomination

I’m super late announcing this.

I’m honored to have my story “A Part of Charlotte” nominated for a Pushcart Award by Sundial Magazine where it was published in January of 2021. Thank you Sundial Magazine for giving this story so much love.

Sundial Magazine is one of the only places out there publishing historical fiction. They are a joy to work with.

The awards on 22nd were amazing. Nana Visitor read my story, and I loved what she brought to it. Hearing all the finalist stories was wonderful, and to top it off, my story “Imagine Dandelions” took first place.

The awards were mentioned in Locus Magazine, super cool.
